Question Title System Requirements

VX Corporation recommends the following minimum / (preferred) configuration for operation of VX CAD CAM Software.

  • Intel Pentium IV or better or equivalent AMD processor (1 GHz and up)
  • 512 MB PC 133 SDRAM (1GB and up)
  • 500 MB Hard Disk space for installation
  • 512 MB swap space (1GB and up)
  • 3 Button Mouse (with scroll wheel)
  • 17 inch Monitor (19 inch)
  • Any Microsoft supported video card (Nvidia chipset)
    Intel must run at 16 bit color
  • 1024 x 768 16 Bit Color Video Resolution (1280 x 1024    32 bit color)
  • Operating systems supported: Windows 2000, (XP) and Vista

Required for licensing:

  • Ethernet card or hardware key.

Required for Floating License:

  • Installation of TCP/IP network protocol.

Highly recommended:

  • Broadband Ethernet connection
  • Speakers or headphone for training and support
  • Spaceball products are supported
