Question Title Edit Attributes

Invoked by Attributes > Edit (Part/Sketch/Sheet Level)

Use this command to edit the attributes for selected entities such as lines, text, constraint symbols, faces. etc. When multiple entities are selected, the first pick determines which attributes (line, face, hatch, etc.) will be edited. The first pick also limits the remaining picks. The data in the attributes form reflects those of the first entity selected. Selecting multiple entities and then performing a <middle-click> will copy the attributes from the first entity to the remaining entities.

  1. Select the entities to edit. You can use the pick filter to limit your selection to like entities (i.e., curves, faces, hatches, etc.) or right-click for input options such as Pick All. To select hatch patterns in section views, first turn the view pick filter off.

  2. Middle-click to display the attributes form for the first entity type selected (not required when Pick All is used). Changes made to the first entity will be copied to the additional entities selected.

    Or

  3. Presses the Enter key to only edit the first entity’s attributes.

  4. Use the displayed attributes form and then pick OK to change the entity’s attributes.

You can use this command to change the display attributes of datum planes.  Set the Pick Filter to Datum Planes, execute this command and then select the datum plane(s) to edit.  The Line Attributes Form will display and changes will be applied to the selected datum plane(s).
