Question Title Table Editor
Create User TableThe Table Editor provides a spreadsheet-like interface for creating User Tables.   It is displayed when you select the Create User Table icon from the Table Manager.

Select a cell to edit and then right-click to enter the data. Row and column headers work in the same manner. Controls are provided for row and column totals and table attributes. Refer to the table below for more information.

VX Tips & Techniques
Do not use the Table Editor to manually change a BOM table.  Please refer to the Regen option in the Table Manager

In BOM tables, balloon labels are associated with the table entries. If you change the number of a label, the label will update.

  • Rows/Columns
Sets the total number of rows and columns. You can ignore these controls until after all of your data is entered. The values will automatically adjust to your data. You can then use these controls to increase the size of the table if desired.

  • Attributes
Displays the Table Attributes Form. Attribute changes will be applied to the active table.

  • Reset Size
This button resets the rows/columns to their default size.

  • Keep Size
This is a toggle button. When selected (pushed in) the size of each row and column is extracted from the Table Editor (i.e., what you see is what you get). When it is not selected, each row and column is calculated to fit the text in each cell. You can resize each row and column individually by dragging its border using the left mouse button.

  • OK
Accepts the table and adds it to the Table Manager.

  • Cancel
Closes the Table Editor without saving the table data.
