Question Title Delete Root Objects

Invoked by Edit > Delete (Object Level)

Use this command to physically remove a root object (i.e., Part, Drawing, Root Sketch, CAM Plan) from the currently active file.  This command can be reversed using the Undo command.

Required InputsRequired Inputs

  • From the VX Object Manager, select the root objects to delete and then middle-click to delete them.

  1. Paste root objects from 3D clipboard Copy root objects to 3D clipboard Cut root objects to3D clipboardYou can also Cut, Copy and Paste root objects to and from the 3D Clipboard using the VX Object Manager.  This allows you to move root objects from one VX file to another.
