Dimension Doglegs (2D)

A dogleg is when the extension line of a dimension is offset from its normal path. This is useful in situations where the normal path of the extension line obstructs other important information. The following commands can be used to add and remove doglegs to and from a dimension.

Add Dogleg to Dimension (2D) Add Dogleg to Dimension (2D)This command adds an offset dogleg to a dimension or dimension group. You can specify multiple points to define the offset. The dimension text remains unchanged. Select the extension line to modify, followed by the points to locate the dogleg. Middle-click to add the dogleg.
