VX documentation in the form of a knowledgebase is available online by selecting Help > Browser from the VX Help Menu. It will connect you to VXCADBase.com. You can also browse the same documentation offline directly from the VX CD. Windows users should go to the "windoc" directory on the VX CD using Windows Explorer and load the file "index.html." Users of all other platforms should use any Java enabled web browser, go to the "doc" directory of your platform, and load the file "index.html."
VX also provides Interactive Help. When activated, the next command selected will launch the VX help browser and display help for that command, either from the online or offline knowledgebase. Refer to the VX Configuration Form for the setting between the two. Select Help > Interactive Mode to toggle VX Interactive Help on and off.
The online knowledgebase version of the documentation located at VXCADBase.com
will always be more complete and up to date than the offline version provided on your VX installation CD. It is highly recommended that you utilize the online help whenever possible. You will find additional topics, command notes, user notes and cross-links to related tasks and topics. At VXCADBase.com you can also submit your own user questions directly to the VX support staff!
