Help > Interactive Mode
When VX Interactive Help is activated, the next command selected will launch your web browser and display help for that command from the
VXCADBase.com online knowledge base. Help will continue to be loaded automatically as you work while this mode is active. Select
Help > Interactive Mode to toggle Interactive Help on and off. If you want quick help for only the next command, press
(Ctrl+Q) prior to selecting the command. Interactive Help will not be activated for quick help. On the Help Menu, the check mark symbol appearing to the left of the Interactive Mode button indicates that it is active.
VXCADBase Tips & Techniques
Where is the correct Article!
During Interactive Help,
VXCADBase.com
articles are sent to your browser. The last command call sent is the final article that you see. If you feel that the article displayed is not correct, try picking the "Back" button on your browser. Sometimes the correct article is found just one click back.
VXCADBase.com
is new to VX v14! We have made every possible effort to make it 100% compatible with the VX application. With every future release of VX,
VXCADBase.com
will get that much better!
Be a VXCADBase Contributor!
VXCADBase.com
is actively seeking VX users who want to contribute to the knowledge base! You can make comments, give advice, write articles and tutorials or simply subscribe to your most important articles. You can do all of this by signing up to
VXCADBase.com
. We hope to see you there.
Keep your VX Maintenance Up to Date!
If you are not up to date on your maintenance and are using an older version of VX, you may experience problems using Interactive Help (i.e.,
Help > Interactive Mode) when the "Live online help" option is enabled from the VX Configuration Form.
Why?
Because during Interactive Help, VX command calls are sent to
VXCADBase.com
requesting specific articles for display. Because the live online knowledgebase is synchronized with the latest VX version, some command calls may have changed, others added or deleted.
This problem will ONLY occur during Interactive Help. You can always select
Help > Help Browser or go directly to
VXCADBase.com
yourself and browse the latest version of VXCADBase.
